Donut Hole Berry Trifles

Ingredients

Cake Donut Holes 24
Vanilla Instant Pudding 1 3.4 oz Box
Condensed Milk 1 Can
Water 1.5 Cups
Heavy Cream 3 Cups
Raspberries 2 Cups
Blueberries 1.5 Cup
Strawberries 2 Cups

These would be a great addition to any Fourth Of July gathering or any party for that matter!

There is no wrong way to make this recipe, you can cut the Donut Holes in half if you like or add any fruit you like Bananas would go well. Put as much of the ingredients you like and leave out the ones you don’t.

The only drawback is the Creamy filling has to be made the day before, but it makes it easy to assemble the next day, all you have to do is cut up Fruit and put them together.

  1. Make the Custard by mixing the Pudding, Condensed Milk and Water together and whisking until smooth.  Refrigerate overnight ( I put mine in a piping bag so it was good to go the next day, a large Zip lock bag would work too).
  2. When you are ready to assemble them, cut the Strawberries into quarters, place the Donut holes in the bottom of a clear glass or jar, layer with the Fruit and Custard, top with Whipped Cream and another Donut Hole.
