Grilled Corn with Miso Butter

Ingredients

Fresh Corn 8
Butter 1 Stick
Shichimi Togarashi 1 Tablespoon
White Miso Paste 4 - 5 Tablespoons

I love Grilled Corn and the addition of Miso Butter is a great compliment, it’s salty and earthy.  The Shichimi Togarashi is a spicy Japanese seasoning blend usually used on rice, I found it at Smiths grocery store.  If you don’t want to use that some Red Pepper flakes or Chili will work.

  1. Mix the softened Butter with the Miso Paste and season with the Shichimi Togarashi.
  2. Grill the Corn on a Barbeque or a hot grill pan, just rub it with a little Oil first. I left the husks on so they were easier to handle if you want to do that soak them in water first so they don’t ignite.
  3. Serve with the Miso Butter on the side of the brush on the Corn before serving.
