Ingredients
Gyoza Wrappers | 1 Package
Shelled Edamame | 1 Package
White Miso | 1/4 Cup | |
Green Onions | 4 | |
Rice Vinegar | 3 Tablespoons
Fresh Ginger | 1 inch piece
Toasted Sesame Oil | 2 Tablespoons
Shichimi Togarashi | 1 teaspoon
Oil for Frying |
These are such tasty little wontons, you can steam them or bake them instead of frying them just brush them with oil first before baking!
I served mine with Ponzu dipping sauce and a spicy Mayo.
An extra shortcut would be to use the Ginger you find in a tube in the produce section.
- Thaw the Edamame and throw them in a food processor with the chopped Green Onions, Miso, Shichimi seasoning, Vinegar, Oil & peeled Grated Ginger puree with 3 tablespoons of Water.
- Spoon about 1 Tablespoon of filling onto one side of the Gyoza wrapper and using your fingers brush a little water around the edges and press to seal them.
- Fry until golden brown. Serve hot.
