Super Simple Crock Pot Creamed Corn
|Frozen Corn||32 oz Bag|
|Cream Cheese||1 8oz Block|
|Butter||1/2 Cup/1 Stick|
|Half & Half||1/2 Cup|
|AllPurpose Seasoning||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic Powder||1 Tablespoon|
|White Sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|French Fried Caramelized Onions||1 Cup|
|Fresh Parsley||2 Tablespoons|
|Smoked Paprika||3 teaspoons|
This would be the hit of any dinner and it is so easy, you literally dump it all into a crock pot and leave it!
You can change the toppings to any thing you want, Breadcrumbs, Deep Fried Jalapenos or Bacon Crumbles will work too.
I prefer cooking it on high as it seems to retain its firm texture.
- Dump the Frozen Corn into a Crock Pot, then place the Cream Cheese, Stick of Butter and Half & Half, Sugar & Seasoning on topo of the Corn and switch the Crock Pot to High for 2-4 Hours or Low for 4-6 hours.
- Stir after about 1 Hour when its all melted.
- Season again to taste and place in a baking/serving dish and place in the oven on 350 for about 15 minutes if using Breadcrumbs sprinkle those on top before you place it in the oven any other toppings add right before serving.
